That's right! My dad is back at the beach with us and came with a boom. He is lucky enough to have Father's Day and his birthday all in one big bundle. It is pretty dang awesome that it is that way too. Although I guess it wouldn't be good for him. He wouldn't get to focus on just Father's Day or just his Birthday. Oh well enough of that. Today's blog will be a listing of 10 things I love about my dad.
1. He is the most lovable man ever
2. His hugs wrap you up in snuggly warmth
3. He likes to make up silly songs to sing
4. He may embarass me but I love it
5. He doesn't treat me like a little kid
6. He listens to me
7. He's a doctor
8. He knows what a girl likes
9. He'll do really fun things with me that you'd have to drug Mom to do
10. He's my dad
The best memory I have of my dad is when I was 11 years old. He took me out onto the farm across from our house where are friends live. He put me in our old, run down Toyota and taught me how to drive. I still remember goiong ten miles an hour and Mom hollering for me to slow down honey. Instead, I sped up to 20 MPH. Dad was there the whole time correcting me and showing me how to do it better. He let's me drive much more now, but never on public roads. I learned to drive because my dad taught me.
Happy Fathers Day and Birthday DAD!
